The Cedars of Austin helped out with the 2008 flood relief by having a “Baked Goodies Silent Auction” on Monday, July 7 and we asked local businesses to donate a couple baked goodies or gift certificates to be auctioned off. All the proceeds went to the Salvation Army to help with the flood relief in Minnesota and Iowa. The total that was raised was $550.
