I noticed the headline in the Sunday Herald, “Two more businesses acquired.” I don’t think the word acquired fit the story. I would think “forced out of business downtown” would have been a better title. Did or do any of these businesses have a say in the matter?

Doesn’t look like it to me. Sounds like they are forced to quit or relocate on the terms offered by the city, or go to court and come out further behind. Justice doesn’t seem to fit the situation. Want to talk about cost savings? Ask Mr. Tollefson or Lang to explain themselves. That should be an interesting conversation.
