Letter: Davis keeps energy options open

As I listen to the energy and fuel debate in the congressional race, one candidate is willing to keep all options on the table, Brian Davis. He knows we will gradually transition to new sources of fuel, and he’s willing to make the transition more affordable for regular Joes just like me.
While his opponent won’t allow some areas of U.S. oil to be used by Americans, Davis says we need to expand the opportunity to drill here now. Access to profitable oil fields means some one will actually expand US oil production. Much of the current available oil fields are not profitable and won’t be used.
Will it make my gas cheaper right away. No, but it might keep it from draining my wallet faster than it already does. More importantly, it keeps those dollars here in America.
Let’s keep all the option open for energy, including renewables, and let’s elect Brian Davis to Congress.
