June L. Hussey, 89
June Lorraine Hussey was born in Kansas City, Mo., and died peacefully July 27, 2008.
She worked as an accountant for the prestigious restaurant in Moline, Ill. called “The Plantation”, and for “The Claire Hotel” and also the Cleveland Insurance Company.
She loved to swim and go for walks and stayed very active until her past months. She read many books, and was known to be a very charitable person.
She is survived by her husband, Harland Hussey; nieces, Dana Pottiff, Sterling, Ill., DeAnne Plutts-Guyette, Teran Aberg, Doreen Newkirks all of Austing, Renee Katz, Minneapolis, Carol Dunlup, East Moline; brothers, Allan Plotts, Lyle, Harvey Plotts. Chicago, Ill.; sister, Virginia Milbarn, Sterling, Ill.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Alice Plotts, Harvey Plotts, step-father, Thomas Witfield Taylor; brother, Frank (Tony) Plotts and nephew, Gary Plotts.
She will be laid to rest at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis.
