Ricky Sydnes

Ricky Joe Sydnes, age 58 of Austin, died at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester Thursday, May 29, 2008.
He was born Oct. 31, 1950 to Irving and Blanche (Kelly) Sydnes in Albert Lea, Minn. where he grew up and attended school. He worked in a board and lodge as a caretaker. Ricky enjoyed spending time with his dog, Sparky, and rides in the country.
Survivors include his sisters, Bonnie (Paul) Amann of Albert Lea; Cindy (John) Ahrens of Winona; brothers, Ronnie Sydnes of Winona, Terry Sydnes and Randy Sydnes, both of Austin; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a half brother, Tom Kelly.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 3 at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin with the Reverend Kristi Koppel officiating. There will be no visitation or reviewal.
