Dolores Elaine, “Dori” Kurina, 84, of Austin, died at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester on May 30, 2008.
She was born Oct. 3, 1923 to Frank and Helen (Verzani) Rysavy in Blooming Prairie, Minn. She graduated from Austin High School in 1941. Dori married Tony Kurina on Dec. 23, 1942 in Austin. An active member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Dolores also volunteered at the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include her husband, Tony Kurina, Austin; daughter-in-law, Barbara Kurina, Tampa, Fla.; two grandsons, Dan and Tom; three great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; Evelyn Rysavy, Milaca, Minn., and Mary Lou Rysavy, Austin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and bingo players.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jerry in 2002 and two brothers.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 3, at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin with Father Joseph Fogel officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment is at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Memorials to donor’s choice.
