Florence Knutson, 92
Florence "Inez" Knutson, 92, of Blooming Prairie, died Monday, July 7, 2003, at Austin Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 20, 1911, to John L. and Eunice A. (Wallace) Driver in Pontotoc County, Ada, Okla.
On June 22, 1944, she married Blaine T. Knutson in El Paso, Texas. Florence had lived in the Austin area since the 1950's.
A beautician and homemaker, she enjoyed knitting, playing cards, spending time with friends and relatives and traveling.
Survivors include nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Visitation: One hour before the service.
Service: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2003, at Prairie Manor Nursing Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Hegal officiating.
Interment: First Lutheran Cemetery, Blooming Prairie.
Funeral Home: Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home.
Memorials: Preferred.
Delores L. Schumacher, 65
Delores LaVonne Schumacher, 65, of Albert Lea, formerly of Austin, died Monday, July 7, 2003, at Good Samaritan Center, Albert Lea.
She was born Sept. 15, 1937, to Margaret Schumacher. Delores' mother died when she was eight years old, and she was subsequently raised by her grandparents.
Delores lived in the Austin area, including Burr Oak Manor until 1999 when she moved to Good Samaritan Center in Albert Lea.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Visitation: One hour before the service.
Service: 1 p.m., Thursday, July 10, 2003, at the funeral home with the Rev. Joe Tamayo officiating.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery.

Martin E. Jensen, 72
Martin E. Jensen, 72, died July 7, 2003, in Las Vegas, Nev.
He was born May 19, 1931, to Martin and Mary Jensen in Austin, where he attended school.
He worked for Hormel as district manager in Buffalo, N.Y. until he and his wife, Carol (Hemmer) Jensen, retired to Las Vegas.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Jensen, Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter, Tracie (David) Costantini, Williamsville, N.Y.; son, Craig; two grandsons; sister, Lydia Clingman; mother-in-law, Doris Hemmer; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Jensen; Sharon (Bob) Pechpum; nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister; brother, Frederick; and father-in-law.
A memorial was held in Las Vegas.
