June M. Reinartz, 62
June M. Reinartz, age 62, of Rose Creek, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at St. Marys Hospital.
She was born Oct. 6, 1940, in Austin, Minn., to Carl and Harriet (Reetz) Reinartz.
June attended St. Peters Catholic Grade School and Rose Creek High School. She lived with her parents until her dad died in 1953, and remained with her mother until her death in 1966. She then made her home with her sister Dorothy and her family. Since January 2002, due to failing health, she resided at the Adams Group Home.
As a young girl she worked at the Reinartz Cafe that her parents owned in Rose Creek. She delivered the Rochester Post Bulletin newspaper for many years. She was an Honor Carrier by the Rochester Post Bulletin in 1996. She also worked at the Cedar Branch Developmental Achievement Center in Adams, Minn.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Ruben Spinler officiating. Interment will be in the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Rose Creek. Visitation will be held at the Adams Funeral Home on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 4:30 p.m. and prayer service at 7 p.m. and on Saturday at St.
Peter's Catholic Church for one hour before the service. Organist will be Joyce Edland. Music will be sung by the St. Peter's Catholic Church Choir.
Honorary bearers will be the staff and residents of the Adams Group Home, and the staff and clients of Cedar Branch-DAC, Adams, Minn. Bearers will be Mercedes Gossman, Gwen Swenson, Ruth Nold, Sharon Osmundson, Janet Douty and Diane Feuchtenberger.
June is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Pete Zender of Rose Creek, Minn.; niece, Jody Allen, her husband David and children, Benjamin and Jordyn, of Maple Grove, Minn.; niece, Jill Zender and fiance Nick Penrod of Brownsdale, Minn.; numerous cousins, friends, and her beloved cat, Rusty.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
