Festivals, Riverland play are on tap

There are festivals galore with celebrations taking place this weekend in Brownsdale, Elkton and Stacyville, Iowa. But there are still other options if you're looking for an excuse to head out this weekend.
Tonight and Saturday, the Summerset Theatre will present "Our Town" at 7:30 p.m., at the Frank W. Bridges Theatre at Riverland Community College, East Building of Austin Campus. Tickets are $10 at Nemitz's or the Riverland Box Office. For reservations, call 433-0595.
The Litomysl Summer Festival, takes place from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Holy Trinity Church, which is located northwest of Blooming Prairie near Bixby.
There will be a benefit auction for Spirit Bear Academy and Boy Scout Troop 113, at 9 a.m. Saturday, north of Todd Park. For information, call 434-0006.
And if you've ever had the itch to learn how to waltz, you can do so from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the American Legion Post 91. There will also be mixed dancing from 3 to 5 p.m. Both events are free.
