Lyle/Pacelli splits triangular

The Lyle/Pacelli boys' golf team saw their Southeast Conference title hopes take a hit Tuesday. They beat Alden-Conger 172-191, but Glenville-Emmons shot a 165 to win the tri-meet at Northwood.

Hayfield is now 6-6 heading into a home matchup with Byron this Friday before hosting the Hayfield Invitational on Saturday. Local teams Southland, Blooming Prairie and Lyle/Pacelli are among the eight-team field.

BPHS golfers split with B.A.

The Blooming Prairie boys' golf team began a stretch of five matches in five days on a winning note, topping Faribault Bethlehem Academy 159-177 Tuesday at Blooming Prairie Country Club.
