United Way officers ready to serve agency

Area residents and businesspeople were elected to various positions Tuesday during the annual meeting for the United Way of Mower County.
The event took place during a luncheon at the Ruby Rupner auditorium at the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center in Austin.
Elected as at-large members to three-year terms for the board of directors were Scott Aakre, Virginia Bissen, Mike McCoy, Donna Olson and Michael Talamontes.
Trish Wiechmann was elected to a five-year term as the campaign division leader for the campaign team.
The officers for the agency's board of directors for the 2003-04 year are:
President, Kris Johnson
Vice President, Scott Aakre
Treasurer, Ann Christianson
Secretary, Renae Simonson
Fund Distribution Chair, Jeff Kritzer
Those who will represent various agencies will also serve for one-year terms. They include:
