Darlene M. Stephoni, 65

Darlene Mae Stephoni, 65, of Waseca, formerly of Austin, died Sunday, April 20, 2003, at the Waseca Medical Center.

She was born June 3, 1937, in Austin, to Stanley Clifford and Ethel Alice (Twedell) Voss.

On Sept. 15, 1956, she married Arthur Stephoni.

Darlene lived for many years on a farm in Oakland, Bismarck, N.D. and most recently at the Lakeshore Inn Nursing Home in Waseca.

She was an avid quilter and gardener. Her favorite pastimes included visiting friends and playing bingo.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur Stephoni, Waseca; sons, Mike (Lynn) Stephoni, Alden; Dan Stephoni, Austin; daughter, Patti (Mike) Schroeder, Bismarck, N.D.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Larry (Lorretta) Voss, Austin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant children and a sister.

Visitation: One hour before the service at the funeral home on Thursday.

Service: 1 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2003, at the funeral home with Father Paul Nelson officiating.

Interment: Calvary Cemetery.
