Terry L. Wold, 58
Terry Lee Wold, 58, of Blooming Prairie, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at his home.
He was born Nov. 19, 1944, in Spring Grove, to Tilford and Belva (Pearson) Wold. He was baptized in the Lutheran Faith on June 12, 1945, in Spring Grove and confirmed in Mable.
After attending schools in Mable and Rochester, Terry joined the Navy as an aircraft mechanic, stationed in Corpus Christi, Texas.
On May 14, 1966, he married Sherry Kerwin in Mable. Terry worked for Tractor Supply while living in Rochester until the couple moved to Spencer, Iowa where he was a manager for Tractor Supply. When they returned to Rochester, Terry drove truck for Gopher Welding, operated Terry's Tavern in Blooming Prairie for a short time, then returned to driving until he went to work for General Equipment in Owatonna.
He belonged to Blooming Prairie Country Club and American Legion Post 52.
Survivors include his wife Sherry Wold, Blooming Prairie; daughter, Robin (Steven) Bjorkquist, International Falls; four grandsons; brother, Richard (Sharon) Wold, Austin; sisters, Kay (Tim) Cleland, Temecula, Calif.; Lorelei (William) Brown, Hurst, Ill.; father-in-law, Edward Kerwin, Holyoke; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gloria Munoz; and mother-in-law, Helen Kerwin.
Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2003, at the funeral home and Saturday at the church for one hour before the service.
Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie with the Revs. Richard Hegal and Heidi Heimgartner officiating and Blooming Prairie VFW Post 878 and American Legion Post 52 escort.

David H. Peck, 48
David Hubbard Peck, 48, of Grand Meadow, died April 15, 2003, at his home.
He was born Oct. 4, 1954, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to Roger and Nancy (Hubbard) Peck.
He graduated from Grand Meadow High School in 1972 and attended Concordia College in Moorhead for two years. He graduated from Mankato State University with a bachelors degree in accounting. He later earned his CPA. For most of his career, he worked at Northwest Business Travel and was also a volunteer tax preparer for inmates and the elderly.
He married Cherie Rollings in January of 1981 in Garden City. They later divorced.
Dave was an avid reader, a science fiction fan, loved jazz music and camping.
Survivors include his son, Isaac, Coon Rapids; daughters, Kierstan and Madeline, Coon Rapids; parents, Roger and Nancy, Grand Meadow; sister, Tracy (Mark) Jacobson, Grand Meadow; brothers, Thomas (Julie) Peck, Grand Meadow; Kelly Peck, Montevideo.
Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2003, at the funeral home and Saturday at the church for one hour before the service.
Service: 1 p.m. memorial service Saturday at The United Church of Grand Meadow with the Rev. Greg Strunk officiating.
Interment: Grand Meadow Cemetery.

Memorials: Will be used for cancer research.
Mary Kay Smith, 54
Mary Kay Smith, 54, of Shoreview, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at Victoria Place.
She was born July 16, 1948, in Austin, to Robert and Lillian (Mortensen) Smith.
Mary Kay loved to work and worked at many different places, including Community Involvement Program, RISE, and, most recently, Midwest Special Services in the metro area.
Survivors include sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Keith Cooper, Elroy, Wis.; Diane and James Cecil, Austin; Linda and Bob Jasinski, Garland, Texas; Pamela Billings, Austin; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation: One hour before the service Friday at the mortuary.
Service: 11 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2003, at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Don Deines officiating.
Interment: Nashville Cemetery, Truman.
Funeral Home: Clasen-Jordan Mortuary, Austin.

Carl W. Rowe, 93
Carl William Rowe, 93, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at Prairie Manor.
He was born Oct. 26, 1909, near Hampton, Iowa, to Edward and Clara (Boelk) Rowe. He grew up in the Hampton, Iowa, Superior, Wis., and Austin areas as a farmer.
On June 12, 1941, he married Violet Lundene in Austin. They lived and farmed in southern Minnesota and moved to Otranto, Iowa in 1951. They moved to Owatonnna in 1967. Carl became a welder at Kurnmeth Mfg. and later at Muckle Mfg.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, working in the yard and garden, and feeding the birds.
Survivors include wife, Violet Rowe, Owatonna; son, David Rowe, San Jose, Calif.; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two step great-granddaughters; one step great-great granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-law, Carolyn; three brothers and one sister.
Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2003, at the funeral home and Saturday at the church for one hour before the service.
Service: 1 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna with the Rev. John Lestock officiating.
Interment: Enterprise Cemetery, Lyle.
