Lyle/Pacelli emerged as the last standing undefeated team in the Southeast Conference baseball standings with a 2-1 victory over neighbor Glenville-Emmons Tuesday night in Lyle.

Nels Nelson pitched the complete game for L/P, pushing the team to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in SEC play. The loss was G-E's first in league play. Nelson struck out 12, walked seven and allowed only three hits.

The game was tied 1-1 heading into the bottom of the seventh, when L/P broke through for the winning run. Josh Baumann doubled down the left-field line, back-to-back walks loaded the bases, and Dan Rysavy came through with the RBI-single.
