Suspicious activity must be reported

A recent talk by one of the state's top counterterrorism experts has spotlighted a growing concern of several right- and left-wing organizations that are operating in Minnesota.

Capt. Bill Chandler, of the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, noted he's not calling any of these individuals terrorists, per se, but that some of these groups could "affect our communities."

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. But when extreme and radical groups begin threatening people because of their race, that's wrong.

No one should be subjected to such taunting and threats of violence. We encourage those who see such activity to report it to their local law enforcement agency.
