Prayer service to be held tonight

A community prayer gathering for peace and those serving in the military in the Middle East will be held at 7 p.m. tonight at First United Methodist Church, located at 204 First Ave. NW in Austin.
The prayer service will include hymns, prayers and scripture readings. People of all faith backgrounds are welcome.
Attendees will have a chance to offer up their own prayers, said Pastor Pat Toschak.
"Where ever we stand on this war, we need to be coming together in prayer," she said.
The gathering is sponsored by the Ministerial Association.
