Sara E. Wencl

Paul R. Silbaugh and Sara E. Wencl, both of Lyle, announce their engagement.

Sara is the daughter of Kathleen Wencl of rural Austin and the late Jerry Wencl. Paul is the son of Robert and DeAnne Silbaugh of rural Lyle.

Sara is a 2001 graduate of Riverland Community College with an associate in arts degree in human services.

Paul is employed in Rochester with Industrial Insulation and also farms.

The couple will be married May 17, 2003, at the Old Mill Restaurant in Austin, with a reception to follow at the American Legion Club in Austin.

Heidi Christensen

Dennis and Kathleen Christensen of Alexandria announce the engagement of their daughter, Heidi Elizabeth Christensen, to Jeffrey Allen Hall, son of Kerry "Pete" Hall and Susan Alverson of Austin.

Heidi is a 1997 graduate of Pacelli High School and a 2001 graduate of The College of St. Catherine in St. Paul. She is an occupational therapist at St. John's Hospital in Maplewood.

Jeff is a 1998 graduate of Austin High School and a 2000 graduate of Rasmussen Business College in Eagan. He is the assistant general manager at the Hilton Garden Inn in Eagan.

The couple will be married at 2 p.m. on May 10, 2003, at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Austin. The reception will be held at the Holiday Inn, Austin.
