Pasta and pooches, fettuccine and felines and other items will headline a Sunday event.

Sort of.

Still, local residents can have the opportunity to enjoy and all-you-can-eat spaghetti buffet dinner while helping out the Mower County Humane Society at the same time.

The organization is hosting the fundraiser from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the grand ballroom at the Holiday Inn in Austin. There will also be a silent auction.

Cost for the event is $7 for adults, $4 for children 9 and under. Tickets are available at the door, Double K Specialty, Bone Appetit Canine Bakery, the humane society, or by calling 437-8103.

Tonight, Bobby Vee will be in concert to give a one-performance show at the Paramount Theatre. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show are available at Black Bart's/Nemitz's or at the Paramount box office.
