Anthony Stejskal led all scorers with 21 points in guiding Grand Meadow back into the win column with a 71-53 Southeast Conference victory over host Lyle/Pacelli Tuesday night in Lyle.

Stejskal hit a pair of three-pointers, while Kyle Breitbarth added 14 points for the Superlarks (5-8, 2-5), who are 2-0 against L/P this season.

Nels Nelson hit three three-pointers and led Lyle/Pacelli with 17 points. Mark Van Winter filled in with 15 as the host team jumped out to a 20-13 first-quarter advantage.

Grand Meadow outscored L/P 23-9 in the second quarter and turned the tides on the SEC contest. L/P remained within five, 36-31, at the half and six, 52-46, after three quarters, but the Superlarks scored the victory with a consistent fourth quarter.

"The bad quarter for us this time was the fourth quarter," said L/P coach Gary Erlandson. "We didn't do particularly well in the second, but we were able to come back in it and be down only five at halftime."

Lyle/Pacelli did not score in the opening three minutes of the fourth quarter, and by the time they did score Grand Meadow had moved out of reach.

The Superlarks hit six three-pointers as a team, getting one each from Justin Olson, Eric Holst, Brady Lorenzen and Breitbarth.

Grand Meadow plays at Lanesboro on Friday, while Lyle/Pacelli visits Spring Grove.
