LeRoy-Ostrander extended its season win streak to 13 games with a 51-34 Southeast Conference victory over visiting Glenville-Emmons Tuesday night in LeRoy.

Chad Orum scored a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds but played in only three periods. Dustin Thorson led the Cardinals (13-0, 7-0) with 13 points and Jacob Rowe added 11.

Glenville-Emmons tried to slow the scoring down but was ineffective in its own half-court set. L-O's 2-3 zone extended out to stop the Wolverines' dangerous three-point shooting.

"If you let them sit there and shoot the three they'll kill you," said L-O coach Russ Foster. "I think we just extended so well."

G-E tried a box-and-one to stop Orum, who in turn distributed the ball to his teammates. Rowe and Thorson, among others, were the beneficiaries in a balanced offensive attack.

"If we're going to win we need to keep doing that," Foster said of the scoring balance. "We shot a pretty good percentage, right around 60 percent."

The Cardinals play at Mabel-Canton Friday night to start the second half of the SEC season. L-O downed the Cougars 65-40 in their first meeting Dec. 13 in LeRoy.
