Exercise caution with weather

With the first accumulative snowfall now here, it's a good reminder for motorists (and pedestrians) to adjust their thinking toward the upcoming winter season.

Many times, people end up getting into accidents or driving off roadways because they are either driving too fast for conditions, or are drawn into a mishap because someone was driving faster than what they should. We encourage motorists to slow down and exercise caution when on the roadways this winter. We also encourage pedestrians to not assume that vehicles will be able to stop on a dime as well and to use safety when on sidewalks or crossing the street.
