Stephen P. Hoevet, 60
Stephen P. Hoevet, 60 of Stacyville, Iowa, died Nov. 4, 2002 at UC Davis Hospital in Sacramento, Calif.
He was born September 26, 1942 in Fairmont to Elmer and Ruth (Fulcomer) Hoevet.
He married Martha Retterath on October 15, 1982 in McIntire, Iowa.
A lifelong resident of Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa, he was employed by Hormel Foods Research and Development where he received many achievement awards.
Steve enjoyed hunting bear and deer, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and playing with his cat, Mopsie.
Survivors include his wife Martha Hoevet, Stacyville, Iowa; daughters Kristinia (William) Wolfe, Baltimore, Maryland, Rebecca Hoevet, Antelope, Calif., Vickie (James) Krahenbuhl, Mason City, Wanda (Phillip) Mueller, Osage, Iowa; sons Robert Hoevet, San Diego, Calif., Rick (Amy) Storlie, Osage, Iowa; six grandchildren; relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his mother and father-in-law.
Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2002, at the funeral home and at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday.
Service: 10:30 a.m., Monday, at St. Edward's Catholic Church with the Rev. William Glaser officiating.
Interment: Grandview Cemetery, Austin.
Funeral Home: Worlein Funeral Home, Austin.

Betty A. Dahle, 69
Betty Ann Dahle, 69, of Sargeant, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
She was born June 7, 1933, in Rock Dell Township, Olmsted County.
She married Kenneth Dahle June 26, 1949, at Evanger Lutheran Church, rural Sargeant.
After marriage, the couple lived all their married lives together on a farm near Sargeant.
She worked for 39 years at Seneca Foods in Rochester until retiring in 1999.
Her husband worked at Larson Products in Sargeant and Seneca Foods in Rochester until retiring.
She was a member of Evanger Lutheran Church, rural Sargeant, and the church's women's society.
Survivors include husband Kenneth Dahle, rural Sargeant; daughters Carlene Buschkopf, Shakopee, Janice Boley, rural Sargeant; son Alvin Dahle, Lino Lakes; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters Joyce (Sidney) Sween, Rochester, Sylvia (Jerry) Schoeppner, Stewartville; brothers Marvin and David Bale, Rochester, Arthur Dahle, Minneapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons.
Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 8, 2002, at the funeral home and one hour before services Saturday at the church.
Service: 11 a.m., Saturday, at Evanger Lutheran Church, rural Sargeant, with the Rev. Russ Wangen officiating.
Interment: Evanger Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Sargeant.

Muriel R. Hurdlik, 84, of Blooming Prairie, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2002, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
Visit-ation: 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at the funeral home and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Service: 10:30 a.m., Monday, at St. Columbanus Catholic Church, Blooming Prairie, with Father Douglas Gits officiating.
Interment: St. Columbanus Cemetery, Blooming Prairie.
