Barbara A. Thompson, 64

Barbara Ann Thompson, 64, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester.

She was born April 11, 1938, to Walter and Ida (Linnemeyer) Bray, in Wykoff.

She married Dean McMartin and he died in 1973. Barbara moved to Brownsdale in 1978. On Feb. 11, 1981, she married Robert Thompson in Osage, Iowa.

Barbara was a nursing assistant at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield for five years and 10 years at St. Mark's in Austin. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Brownsdale. She enjoyed collecting dolls.

Survivors include husband, Robert Thompson, Brownsdale; mother, Ida Bray, Austin; daughters, Lindy (Brian) Hookland, Lancaster, Calif.; Evonne (Mark) Godbout, Brownsdale; Karri Zebel, St. Paul; sons, Gregory McMartin, Saginaw; James (Darla) McMartin, Austin; Charles (Gail) Thompson, Brownsdale; Dean McMartin, Brownsdale; Bradley McMartin, Brownsdale; Mark Thompson, Brownsdale; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lois Roseth, Cloquet; Shirley (Donald) Hallback, Cloquet; Wendy (Joe) Niesen, Rochester; brothers, George Bray, Apache Junction, Ariz.; William (Norma) Bray, Austin; Walter Bray, Jr., Apache Junction, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her father, and son, Ricky.

Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 29, 2002, at the funeral home and Saturday at the church for one hour before the service.

Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Rev. David Truenow officiating

Interment: Grandview Cemetery, Austin.
