Two Austin girls told police they have been shot with BB pellets.
According to an Austin Police Department report, one of the victims and her father reported the incident to police.
The attack occurred near 9 p.m. Oct. 5, while the victims, ages 12 and 13, were standing on sidewalk outside the New Life Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church.
According to the victims, a group of four juveniles wearing hooded sweatshirts rounded the corner at the Salvation Army Austin Corps' family thrift store and one or more started firing a BB gun handgun at them.
Both victims were struck twice and reported hearing a hail of the pellets spiking the church building behind them.
The group of assailants continued on their way, according to the report.
Break-up disturbance
Two adults and one juvenile were physically removed from Bremerton Townhomes property early Sunday and charged with multiple offenses.
The trio were part of a group of 20 or more people creating a disturbance at the west Austin townhomes complex.
After refusing repeated orders by private security guards at the multi-family housing development, Austin Police Department officers were called to disperse the crowd.
The trio were singled out by security guards as the perpetrators of the misconduct. All three were identified as individuals ordered off the property previously and also ordered not to return.
Charges of disorderly conduct, obstructing legal process, criminal trespass and minor consuming were filed against the individuals.
Bremerton Townhomes has instituted a "get tough" policy with tenants. Private security guards regularly patrol the area and a Neighborhood Watch Program is being instituted.
