The Austin High School 2002-2003 football team takes to the practice field starting Monday, August 12, at Wescott Field.

The varsity squad, which includes juniors and seniors, will begin practice at 7:45 a.m. The B-squad, consisting of sophomores, starts at 4 p.m., and the freshman team meets at 8:45 a.m.

Players are expected to stop by the AHS athletic office, near the main office, and fill out all required paperwork and pay sign-up fees. Football players will also be expected to bring the following items: T-shirt, shorts, socks, tennis shoes, cleats, mouthguard, padlock, and warmer clothing if the conditions call for it.
