Gladys M. Osmundson, 69
Gladys Marie Osmun-dson, 69, of Adams, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, at St. Mary's Hospital.
She was born Aug. 8, 1932, in Scottsbluff, Neb., to Gilman R. and Eva (Stoppler) Carlson. She was baptized at St. Agnes Church in Scottsbluff and graduated from high school at Dawson.
She graduated from the St. Mary's School of Nursing and worked at St. Mary's Hospital, St. Olaf Hospital in Austin and the Adams Health Care Center.
On March 25, 1954, she married Harold M. Osmundson in Rochester.
Gladys was one of the founding members of the Adams Ambulance crew and was active with them for 17 years. She was a life member of the St. Mary's School of Nursing Alumna and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Jody Osmundson, Adams; Scott and Char Osmundson, LeRoy; three grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Violet Woolington, Pomona, Calif.; Evelyn and Cam Andre, Minneapolis; brother and sister-in-law, Gilman and Mary Carlson, Castleton, Va.; mother-in-law, Margie Osmundson, Adams; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Donis and Bernie Hukee, Louisville, Ky.; Cleo Osmundson, Adams; David and Ardy Osmundson, Austin; Donna Osmundson, Adams; Diane and Robert Smith, Adams; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 9, 2002, with a 4:30 p.m. Rosary service and a 7 p.m. prayer service and on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Service: 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Gregory Leif officiating.
Interment: Marshall Lutheran Cemetery, rural Adams.
