Ruby Jenny Tanner, 83

Ruby Jenny Tanner, 83, of Richville, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at SCCI in Fargo, N.D.

She was born to John and Ethel (Rogers) Noble on July 9, 1919, in Austin. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Olaf Church in Austin.

She married Wilber Tanner. He died May 16, 1994.

Ruby was employed at Hormel in Austin and at Owatonna Canning Company in Owatonna.

Survivors include children, Patricia (Elmer) Schwerin, Longville; Terry (Carole) Dalager, South Haven; Galen Dalager, Owatonna; Joni (Bruce) Dalager, of Richville; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Randy Dalager; siblings, Hannibal, Stephen, Everett, Roscoe, Sandy, Johnnie, Guy, Jane Helleck, Lutina Ingvaldson, Margaret Noble, Grace Noble and Dorothy Klingfus.

Visitation: Was 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 16, 2002, and at the church for one hour before the service.

Service: Was 11 a.m., Saturday, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Richville with Rev. Timothy Vaughan officiating.

Interment: In the church cemetery.
