Shirley Orr, 76, Austin

Shirley Orr, 76, of Austin, died Thursday, July 30, 2002, at Sacred Heart Health Care Center.

She was born Jan. 14, 1926, in Austin, to John and Rose (Grimley) Cartwright.

On June 7, 1947, she married Robert Melvin Orr in Austin.

She was a retired employee of Hormel Foods.

Survivors include her husband; daughter and son-in-law Kim (Jerry) Reis; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jack Cartwright.

Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 2, 2002, at the funeral home and Saturday at the church for one hour before the service.

Service: 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at Mayer Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Petersen officiating.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery.
