Joshua Lowe

Katie Harrington and Joshua Lowe, both of Austin, announce their engagement.

Katie is the daughter of Kent Harrington and Kim Soderberg of Austin. Joshua is the son of Bob and Patty Lowe of Brownsdale.

Katie is a 1999 graduate of Austin High School and attended Riverland Tech for graphics and administrative assistant. She is employed at St. Marks nursing home in Austin.

Joshua is a 2000 graduate of Hayfield High School and is employed at Akkerman Manufacturing in Brownsdale.

The couple will be married in August 2003 at the home of Joshua's parents.

Jill Renae Meyer

Jamie Max Patterson

Jill Renae Meyer and Jamie Max Patterson, St. Ansgar, Iowa, announce their engagement.

Jill is the daughter of Kenneth and Clara Meyer of Lyle and Jamie is the son of Gerald and Susan Patterson of St. Ansgar.

Jill is employed by Tecstra Systems in Austin and is also a Creative Memories Consultant.

Jamie is a technician at Firestone in Austin.

The couple will be married at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, at Six Mile Grove Lutheran Church in Lyle.

The reception and dance will be at the Carpenter Community Center, Carpenter, Iowa.
