Mr. and Mrs. Steven Gehling of Grand Meadow announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristy Gehling, to James Bhend, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Bhend of LeRoy.

Kristy is a full-time student at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

James is a graduate of University of Wisconsin-River Falls. He is employed at Harvest Tec in Hudson, Wis.

The couple will be married Aug. 24 at St. Finbarr's in Grand Meadow with a reception at Grumpy's following ceremony.

April Grobe

April Grobe and Jason Gabrielson, both of Austin, announce their engagement.

April is the daughter of Rita Hall and Steve and Jenny Grobe of Austin and Jason is the son of Tim and Diane Gabrielson of Austin.

April is manager at Fashion Bug.

Jason is an insurance agent with Farmers Insurance Group.

The couple will be married at 7 p.m. on Sept. 27, 2002, at Crane Chapel Church in Austin.
