The most notable improvement was to the Crane Pavilion, long the site of the National Barrow Show. Numerous comments were made and many seemed proud to be in such a fine building. Others praised Mower County commissioners for helping get funding to rehabilitate the building.

Putting on a fair of this size takes planning, organization and lots of patience. But from our view, it went off well. From the rows of vendors selling food and drinks to the numerous businesses and other groups in the Plager Building, to the array of games and rides on the Midway, it appeared many enjoyed themselves.

We're confident this past week showcased our county well and provided numerous memories for many involved, from tots to the elderly.
