Clayton "Mike" R. Jones, 89

Clayton "Mike" R. Jones, 89, of Austin, died Saturday, July 13, 2002, at Cedarview Nursing Home, Owatonna.

He was born June 2, 1913, to Webster and Alma (Myklebust) Jones in Minneapolis.

On June 27, 1936, he married Marion C. Roby in Owatonna.

A resident of Austin for over 50 years, Mike worked on the Milwaukee Railroad as a conductor for 42 years.

He was a member and elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church where he taught Sunday School, and served as an usher and a greeter. He also belonged to the Eagles Club and enjoyed bowling and fishing.

Survivors include daughters, Judy (Delbert) Karsjens, Clarks Grove; Mary (Ronald) Vaith, Owatonna; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion; parents; half brother, Thurston.

Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m., today, July 15, 2002, at the funeral home and Tuesday at the church for one hour before the service.

Service: 11 a.m., Tuesday, at Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Andrew Lindahl officiating.

Interment: Grandview Cemetery.

Funeral Home: Worlein Funeral Home, Austin.

Angela J. Fink, 94, Waseca

Angela Josephine Fink, 94, of Waseca, died Saturday, July 13, 2002, at the Lake Shore Inn Nursing Home in Waseca.

She was born May 20, 1908, in Rose Creek, to John and Anna (Cress) Fink.

She graduated from Rose Creek High School and went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of St. Theresa in Winona, majoring in Latin and English.

Her first year after college, she taught school in Onaka, S.D. She moved to Waseca in 1940, where she began a long career at the Waseca Public Library, retiring in 1983.

She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca.

Survivors include sister, Sr. Marie Fink O.S.F., Assisi Heights, Rochester; nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Walter and Edward Fink; sisters, Katherine Schammel, Genevieve in infancy, Loretta Weber, Pauline Fink.

Visitation: One hour before the service at the church.

Service: 10:30 a.m. memorial mass, Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca with Fr. John Kunz officiating.

Interment: St. Peter's Cemetery, Rose Creek, at a later date.
