Todd is a 1992 graduate of Austin High School. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Biochemistry in 1996 and a Masters Degree in Nutritional sciences from the UW in 1999. He is currently employed as a Research Scientist at Abbott Laboratories in Chicago, Ill.

Ellen is a 1994 graduate of West Allis Central High School and a 1999 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the field of Dietetics. She received a Masters Degree in Dietetics from Illinois State University in 2001. She is employed as a Registered Dietitian with Extendicare Health Services in Beloit and Monroe, Wis.
