Police are searching for a man believed to have stabbed a 16-year-old Austin boy.

According to police reports, the boy was stabbed four times at a residence in the 600 block of 11th Street NW Sunday night by an unknown male.

Police were told the man was accompanied by a woman, who drove the man away from the scene. The woman, 18, of Lyle, was then found and arrested for aiding in the assault.

The victim was taken to the Austin Medical Center where he was treated and released.

Austin Police Chief Paul Philipp says the incident is still under investigation and no one has been arrested for the actual stabbing.
