Two teenage boys were cited for criminal damage to property June 13 after police found expletives sprayed painted on garbage cans at Sumner Elementary School.

Shortly after 11 p.m., Austin Police questioned a 15-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy about the spray painting at the school.

The boys said they had been home all night, but an officer noticed white spray paint on their hands.

After the boys were cited, they were released to their parents.
