Arline D. Fuhrman, 79
Arline D. Fuhrman, 79, of Austin, died Saturday, June 8, 2002, at St. Marks Lutheran Home.
She was born July 20, 1922, in Tuttle, N.D. to Frederick and Catherine (George) Mehlhaff.
She graduated from Tuttle High School in 1940 and moved to St. Paul in 1946.
On May 26, 1947, she married Floyd Fuhrman in St. Paul. The couple moved to Austin in 1949, where they remained.
Her hobbies included making ceramics, playing cards, ballroom dancing, spending time at her cabin and going to eat. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and making out-of-town deliveries with Mrs. Emma Murphy.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Austin Eagles Auxiliary and Royal Neighbors of America.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Laurie Steward, Warsaw; Joy and Mike Janning, Austin; Penny and Ron Mayzlik, Austin; son, Tom Fuhrman, Hayward; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Edna Askleson, Fargo, N.D.; Bertha and John Beck, Redland, Calif.; Liz Hayford, Greenleaf, Idaho; Ruth Pen, Lynden, Wash.; brothers, Ruben Mehlhaff, Connor, Mont.; Melvin Mehlhaff, Seattle, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1990; sisters, Lydia, Emelia, Alma and Hilda; brother, Alvin; two grandchildren in infancy.
Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m., today, June 11, 2002, at the funeral home and Wednesday at the church for one hour before the service.
Service: 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Harold Deye officiating. Organist will be Marlene Schroeder and soloist will be Deborah Nordland. Casket bearers will be Angela Larson, Geoff Steward, Eric Janning, Dustin Janning, Mark Mayzlik and Terry Mayzlik.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Austin.
