Austin High School graduate Adam Kasper has expressed his intentions to play basketball at Riverland Community College this fall according to Blue Devil head coach David Lillemon.
Kasper, a member of the class of 2002 at AHS, averaged 11.5 points per game for the Packers last season, ranking him third on the team. The left-handed jump-shooter scored most of his points from beyond the three-point line in helping Austin to a 16-9 record.
"We're very excited to have Adam," Lillemon said. "He'll give us an offensive threat immediately, and he's a very competitive person. We think Adam is going to be a great addition to the team."
Kasper scored 20 or more points five times last winter, including a career-high 26 against Winona. He is the sixth high school recruit signed on by Lillemon this summer.
