With summer officially underway, there's lot of opportunities this weekend to head outdoors and enjoy the warm weather.
Today, from noon to 4 p.m., there will be a bone marrow screening at Wescott Field. It's a great chance to help out others who may be in search of a cure for cancer. For information, contact the Mower County chapter of the American Red Cross at 437-4589.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Arc Mower County will be putting on a rummage, craft and bake sale.
Lunch will also be available for $3. For information, call 433-8994.
There will also be a fundraiser and reception for the member Artist of the Month from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the Austin Area Art Center. There will be watercolors by PriscillaMae for sale at the event.
And the Paramount Theatre will play host to a Jake Donze concert at 7:30 p.m. Cost for the event is $5.
