This is the weekend to honor Mom for all she's done, and there's some opportunities to do just that both Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday, there will be the Mother/Daughter Brunch at 10 a.m. at the Queen of Angels' Cunningham Hall in Austin. For information, call 433-8116.

On Sunday, there will be a Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon at Queen of Angels' Cunningham Hall in Austin. The cost is $3 and children ages three to 12 are just $2. Those under three are free.

If you have children who are into reading books, the Saturday Serial Reading Club, for those from fifth through eighth grade, will meet at 10 a.m. at the Austin Public Library.

And tonight, there will be a community CPR review class from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Mower County American Red Cross. For information, call 437-4589.
