A eight-vehicle pileup forced the Minnesota State Police to shut down a portion of the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 near Oakland Place Monday. The accident, which occurred around 8 a.m. involved cars, minivans, pickup trucks and a semi tractor trailer. Austin police said it appeared there were no major injuries as a result of the chain-reaction accident.
