Wescott Field welcomed the Austin girls' track team home to host its first meet of the season, scoring a first-place finish and a number of season- and personal-bests in a Big Nine Conference Triangular Tuesday night.

The Packer girls won 11 of 18 events in their first home meet of the year, making short work of some top times and distances this season. Lisa Bue leaped to her top height in the high jump this season, going over 5-feet on her third and final attempt at the bar.

Jenny Tucker pushed her personal-best to the top of the 400-meter dash, winning the race in 1:02.7. Sarah Loots' time of 13.82 was her season-best to win the 100, while the 4×800 contingent of Katie Munk, Natalie Bowers, Molly Thatcher and Bue scored a season-best effort in winning their event.

Bue also charted a season-best time of 2:34.6 in the 800, finishing second. Thatcher's personal-best 2:48.6 was good enough for fourth in the same race.

Staci Tucker took third in the 200 -- behind first-placed teammate Theresa Hirsch -- with a season-best 29.4. Hirsch also hammered out a first-place finish in the shot put, and Renee Ludwig won the discus.

Hirsch and Jenny Tucker joined Kari Loger and Emily Johnson for first in the 4×400, while Megan Seibel was first in the long jump and second in the triple jump.

The Packers host the AHS Invite on Saturday, scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
