The Austin girls' and boys' track teams paired up for the Owatonna Co-Ed Relays Friday afternoon, finishing last out of seven top-tier teams in attendance.

"We were very proud of our showing at this meet considering some of our key athletes were on an orchestra trip," said girls' coach Lisa Glynn.

The Packer contingent was kept from the winners' stand throughout the day, getting a number of top-three finishes nonetheless. Kari Loger sprinted to a runner-up finish in the 100-meter dash, with teammate Theresa Hirsch taking seventh.
