Austin High School junior Stephanie Eslinger was chosen as a member of the 2001-02 All-Big Nine Conference first team.

Eslinger, the starting post player for the Packers this season, averaged around 11 points per game and led the team in scoring nine times. Her season- and career-high output was a pair of 20-point performances in conference games against Faribault and Mankato East.

Packer senior point guard Bridget Burzinski was named to the Honorable Mention squad, as were junior guard Amy Kelly and sophomore forward Lisa Bue.

Austin finished 12-12 this year, and 9-9 in the Big Nine.
