Tom Kluczny scored an 8-over par 79 and tied for seventh place and Jamie Knutson scored an 11-over par 82 to tie for 14th place overall, leading the Lyle/Pacelli to a top-five finish at the Stewartville Golf Invitational Friday afternoon.

Lyle/Pacelli's team score of 337 was good enough for fifth out of 10 teams. Lake City won the meet with a 315, followed closely by United South Central at 318 and Rushford-Peterson at 322. Kasson-Mantorville was fourth with 333, followed by L/P and Blooming Prairie (339).

L/P finished five strokes back of USC to place second at the Blooming Prairie Invitational earlier this season.

Kyle Fett chipped in an 87 for L/P, and Mark Van Winter carded an 89 to contribute the final scoring effort.

Lyle/Pacelli (3-2) hosts Southeast Conference foe Lanesboro Tuesday at Ramsey Golf Course near Austin, starting at 4:30 p.m.
