Jeffrey Eugene Allen, Jr. & Julie Ann Mittag

Ray and Lydia Mittag of Glenville announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Ann Mittag, to Jeffrey Eugene Allen, Jr., son of Jeff and Patty Allen of Lyle.

Both Julie and Jeff are 1999 graduates of Lyle High School and attend North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City, Iowa.

A June 7, 2002, wedding will take place at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Myrtle.

Brooke Divine & Adam Scherer

Robert Divine and Doug and Ilene Carroll of Austin announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Brooke Divine, to Adam Scherer, son of Steve and Eileen Scherer of Sioux Falls, S.D.

Brooke is a 1994 graduate of Austin High School, a 1998 graduate of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and a 2002 graduate of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She will start a residency program in pediatrics this summer.

Adam is a 1995 graduate of O'Gorman High School in Sioux Falls, a 1999 graduate of Drake University, and currently works for Roundarch based out of Chicago.

The couple will be married at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin on May 11, 2002.
