In either case, you’ll find plenty of options at this weekend’s 28th Annual Austin Home and Vacation Show at Riverside Arena. There will be plenty of booths to explain what’s new in the home and vacation world, and kids can even try their luck at fishing.

Admission is free and so is the parking for the event, which runs today, Saturday and Sunday.

If you’re interested in seeing the stars instead, head on over to the Solafide Observatory at 8 p.m. Saturday. The event is open to the public. For information, call 433-1903.

Three food-related events take place on Sunday. From 8:30 a.m. to noon, the Pacelli Booster Club will have its pancake breakfast at St. Augustine Church in Austin. Cost is $3 for adults, $2 for children under 12 and a family can eat for $10.

Also, the Lyle First Responders will host a Palm Sunday breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lyle Legion Club Room. A free will offering will be taken.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church will host a Swedish meatball dinner. Tickets, which are available at the door, are $7 for adults and $3 for children under 12. They’ll take carry-out requests, too. For information, call (507) 567-2323.
