Sunday’s St. Patrick’s Day holiday usually means many Irish-related festivities.

And that includes food.

There will be numerous places where you can get an Irish dinner. One will take place Sunday, when there will be a St. Patrick’s Day dinner at St. Augustine Church in Austin.

But if you’re not in the mood for meat and potatoes, stroll over instead to the main ballroom at the Holiday Inn in Austin. For a $5 donation, the public is invited to a Chocolate Lover’s Afternoon from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The Freeborn Mower County affiliate for Habitat for Humanity will have a home dedication and open house at 2 p.m. Sunday at 811 Fifth Ave. NE in Austin.

And the Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at the Oak Park Mall’s community room for donations on Monday and Tuesday. For information, call 437-4589.
