A Mower County jury found Ryan Arthur Sanvick not guilty of three counts of felony criminal sexual conduct Monday.
The jury reached its verdict after more than six hours of deliberation Monday.
Sanvick, 28, of Brownsdale, was charged in connection with an incident Oct. 3 at his residence.
The original criminal complaint accused him of repeatedly sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman while her child was present in his home.
The complaint accused Sanvick of handcuffing the woman and repeatedly threatening her with harm, including at one point brandishing a gun.
The woman had gone to Sanvick’s home after working and fell asleep.
At a hearing last week, Sanvick told District Judge Fred Wellman he and the woman had a short relationship prior to the Oct. 3 incident that included sex.
Sanvick was represented by public defender Stephen R. Erickson of Albert Lea.
Jonathan P. Olson prosecuted the case for Mower County.
