GRAND MEADOW-The first of five concrete domes at the new Grand Meadow Public Schools project could be inflated Monday.
According to Bruce Klaehn, superintendent of Grand Meadow Public Schools, the inflation will take place Monday "weather-permitting."
However, the time of the inflation could be as early as 3 a.m.
Five domes, in all, will be constructed in the first concrete monolithic domed school project in Minnesota.
The new K-12 school is being built along Highway16 at the east edge of the community.
The project is scheduled to be completed in time for the start of the 2002-2003 school year.
