Three actions which will bring a Primrose Inc. senior housing development to southwest Austin will come before the Austin City Council on Monday evening.
Public hearings will be held on three actions related to land intended for a proposed 72-unit senior assisted and independent living facility. The actions are:
– An amendment to the city of Austin Comprehensive Land Use Plan
– The rezoning of 6.4 acres from an R-1 single-family residential district to an R-2 mulit-family residential district
– The preliminary platting of 23.55 acres, to include the land intended for the Primrose development and a recommendation for the additional land to be subdivided as single-family lots.
The council will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday in the council chambers in the basement of the municipal building.
